I'm excited~! Hopefully, since Anthology was packaged as one, FFV and FFVI won't be full-priced like the multi-disc FFVII - FFIX, but...that might just be me being hoping. I really want the whole collection on PSN even I have disc versions c.c Which is kind of silly, but....xD
I bothers me that the quality of PSOne games aren't quite as good on the PS3 :< But at the same time, I didn't want to have to hook up my PS2 every time I wanted to play any FF lower than XIII c.c So I caved and got FFVII off the PSN, I haven't decided if I'm going to pick up all of them since I'm poor folk and all >.>

Well in Europe V and VI are priced the same and VII, VIII and IX on the network. I'm desperate for the PSN versions for the sake of being able to play them but my hard copy collection looks wierd with a big lack of PSone games so I need hard copies too.

I'm both excited and slightly annoyed by this XD Excited because I want to have them all on my PS3, even though I already have them all on disc, but annoyed because it took them so long to make them available. Big fail on Square NA's part - but they've been failing so much lately, I can't say I'm surprised.
I haven't noticed any difference in quality from the PSone releases to PSN, Bha, and I've got VII and VIII. I remember checking for that when I first got them, too...

I noticed it mostly in the FFVIII battle fade and some of the spell casting. The cutscenes aren't different, but in FFVIII and FFIX the battle effects tend to be rougher.
I'm also hoping having it on the PSN will encourage my dad to play it xD He played through FFX-2 and XII and XIII, but I haven't gotten him to play anything older yet >.>
