Name:Nadim Zhoryi
Nicknames/Alias:
FF XI
Age:19
Height/build:Stands in at 5’8’’, with a slim build.
DoB:867 C.E
Race: Mithra
Weapon: A weapon master of sorts, Nadim can fight with almost any weapon type:
Serpentine Gun with electrum bullets.
Kukri dagger
Shikar Bow with scorpion/sleep arrows
Strider sword
Level 41
Strength: 123
Physical: 58
Magical: 0
Agility: 65
Special Skill(s):
Nadim is well versed in the way of evasion, so not only is he good at avoiding attacks from charging sheep, but he is also good at running away from them as well.
In the unlikely event that Nadim is relentlessly chased by sheep, he can use his ‘highly’ trained skills with a dagger to fend off the raging beast.
Now if Nadim was able to kill the rabid beast, he can check to see if it has anything of value.
If Nadim comes across a sheep that he believes has a rare and valuable treasure hiding within its fluff, he can use his skills as a thief to sneak up on it and attack, without it even knowing what hit it. Since the foe is caught off guard, the attack does a little bit more damage than normal, giving Nadim the ability to subdue the creature with higher attack damage than if he attacked head on. (High spike damage)
Despite his skills as a thief, Nadim is above all else a marksman. Taking full advantage of his body’s flexibility, agility and great coordination, he climbs up into high places such as trees and ambushes his enemies while being completely out of sight. His aim is extraordinary thanks to his great eyesight and steady hand.
All in all, Nadim excels at stealth, long range combat and isn’t too shabby with a sword. His skill set has given him great flexibility. In the heat of combat he is a worthy opponent and an invaluable ally.
Magic: Nadim has no magic skills.
Pet Often seen nearby, Nadim rides around on a chocobo Haja, named after the Mithra general Haja Zhwan.
Summon: None
Appearance:Piercing blue eyes and an uncommon semi-spotted facial fur pattern gives Nadim a face that is hard to forget, even if you’re accustomed to the Mithra race. His lean frame is accented by the traits of his people, a long tail and pointed ears rising out from atop of his head; the tail and left ear being black in color, the right ear a light brown with a black tip to match the rest of his body; his hair white and spikes off to both sides and back (sorta hard to explain). He wears black pants with four belts wrapped around each pant leg, and a black tee-shirt with mesh sleeves. Over this he wears two large belts, one going across his waist and another going across his chest diagonally. These belts serve a purpose; the diagonal belt holds either his bow or gun, while the belt across his waist holds his dagger, sword and bullets when they’re needed. When in highly populated areas, Nadim wears a dark colored robe over his clothes with the belts strapped over. Besides his clothes, he also wears a small number of accessories; a mythril bracelet on his right wrist, a gold necklace that belonged to his deceased mate and black fingerless gloves.
Personality:By first impression, Nadim is a calm and quiet individual who does what he can to keep to himself. He avoids populated areas when possible, he only talks to those who he needs to talk to and almost always hides his identity. Without the comfort of the familiar world he grew up in, he distrusts many. On the other hand, once someone gets to know him for who he is, Nadim appears to be a very different person. He is kind and curious, energetic and easy going. Even though he isn’t the brightest you’ll come across, he isn’t dim by any means; normally able to back up an argument with an intelligent defense… assuming he is willing to put the effort into keeping his focus. One of his biggest flaws is his lack of attention span. When he has to work or is under stress, he can concentrate without issue, but under normal circumstances, you’d have an easier time to get a child to pay attention.
(Just his basic history in a 1st person POV, I will work on it more later as I figure out more about his past and put it into the traditional perspective. )
History: My history is is just a brief tale of my life; how I got to where I am today. Growing up in Windurst as a male Mithra was about what you'd expect from a race that doesn't have very many mating pairs. I was to live a life of nothing but mating and raising children, kept away from the wonder that is our world. Vana'diel from what I'd seen in books looked like an amazing place; I never thought that I of all Mithra would be given the opportunity to see it with my own eyes. As with all enlightened races around the year 866, escalating hostilities with the Beastmen had been causing unrest among our people in Windurst and Mhaura. With the rising chance of our mercenaries being called out to battle, our Chieftaness decided that we had to do something we'd never done before in recent memory. A select few out of our already small population of male Mithra were to be trained in areas of combat. Basic hand to hand combat was required, but we each were given a specific field of expertise. I was given the task to become a ranger. It was a great honor to be given this opportunity. I worked hard and took my teachings to heart, no matter the task or challenge. Between the Windurst and Mhaura, I was able to get my fair share of combat and then some. And that was how I lived my life for years; sure it wasn't my preferred standard of living, but was something that I felt that I needed to continue doing. In 885 things changed, something happened that no training or combat could have prepared me for. The merge destroyed many lives that day. I, along with a large number of my friends and family was being moved from Windurst to Mhaura. The frequency of attacks had increased, and it was decided that it'd be best to move the men and children to a city that was easier to defend. On route, the merge had started to take hold on the region, causing a stamped of animals of all kinds. The smaller creatures were easy to avoid, but the Battering Rams were not. Amidst all the chaos, they plowed through our convoy, killing many; my newborn son and mate among them. What happened after that is only a vague memory. I kept running and running. Nothing seemed the same anymore, only strange places with strange people. It has been a year since the merge. My life hasn't been as honest as it once was in the past, but certain things needs to be done to survive in this world. I just wish things could be back to the way they were, before all of this...
