DolletFinal Fantasy VIIIDollet is a small and elegant port town, the only remnant of an ancient empire. One of few cities that held onto the relics of radio transmission during the time its use was impossible, Dollet houses both a radio tower and a large television display, set over its hotel in the central shopping courtyard.

EdgeFinal Fantasy VIIBuilt from the ruins of Midgar after Meteorfall's devastation, Edge became the new home of the mako city's former residents. It is a large, industrious city, housing most of the same things Midgar once had, without the devastating effects of mako power. The Shinra Company remains in Edge, though its power has diminished to very little, with the World Regenesis Organization headed by Reeve Tuesti taking over the primary duties of running the city.
