First off, hello!
I apologize for posting this here, but with the seeming loss of an active administration and the notices I saw about needing such approval for registering an account, I thought this might be my best bet...with the Cbox closed...but that's off topic. I'm a bit of a stranger here; in fact, I only first discovered this site a few days ago. And in short, it's amazing. This is by far one of the best, most ambitious, and well executed ideas-made-reality I have ever come across, and it instantly made me want to join in, to see life flowing through it.
Now, for a bit about me! On boards such as this one, I usually introduce myself as Rezial, or Rez, and end up going with whatever else works from there. I've been rp'ing on sites such as this one for the past 8 years or so now, and writing seriously and rp'ing in one form or another for the past 13-15! Recently, I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy and indulge in it like I once did; however, which some changes to my situation, I have the chance once more, and when I came across this board I loved it. And the more I've read through, the more I've discovered, and admittedly the more I've already worked out so many ideas I'd love to see have a chance at life, the more I've wanted to see it up and running again.
And that's how this came about! It's a little small, and a bit of a long shot, but it's as good a start as any. From what I've seen this wonderful world have been turning for a good couple years now until misfortune hit not so very long ago, and I'm hoping this might help me find some of those holding out hope, because I want to help however I can. I've lost brilliant places of creativity and interaction like this before, and I'd work hard to make sure that such a silence doesn't continue to reign here.
So! To any players out there who come across this post, to any interested guests out there who catch sight of this after all this brilliant work piques their interest, to any staff members and world builders and serious movers and pushers who manage to spot one half-crazed stranger crying out for help like this, I have an announcement of my own!
I don't want to let this place die off, not while it still might have a chance. And I'm willing to talk through and figure out one way or another to beat some life back into it, until its thriving again. Please, after all the work that I can see has been put into this place, don't turn your back on it without giving it one last chance to live a bit more, in whatever form or way is found.
If anyway wishes to talk about ways to get things going again, volunteer, join in, etc, just leave some sort of response here and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I can provide an email address and a few different messenger accounts you can reach me through, as well.
Please have a wonderful day, and I hope that some stranger passing through and wanting to help revive all your hard work has given you a little spark of interest, rather than rousing your desire to metaphorically drive me from the town with stones and pitchforks. I hope to hear from some of you soon!
