Appearance: Cy looks to be between the ages of 30-36. Barely covering his torso with the old black kimono; Cy prefers mobility to defense. The battered and scarred skin that lay exposed has hardened over years of aimless conflict and various training by his master. Long dark hair remains tied back usually to reveal his strong and fierce face; accompanied by piercing green eyes.
When his Gekido is active, Cy's former injury from his final 'ascension' glows red upon his left shoulder.
Personality: Cy purposely distances himself from others in an effort to preserve the secrecy of the Kami doctrine. The samurai is brisk and to the point; avoiding trivial conversation as to consolidate his time and effort. His dedication to the Kami means he expects to die at the hand of the one he chooses to train. When approached, Cy may seem off-putting and almost defensive despite any doubts he may have.
History: Cy was born to absent parents it would seem. Wanderers had found him on the outskirts of Onrac when he was just an infant. In the company of such travelers, Cy had witnessed the different peoples and events as a child. His 'haven' would only last so long though. When the darkness took hold of the land, creatures far and wide appeared seemingly out of thin air and made multiple cases of 'wrong place; wrong time.' The troop he had always known and lived with fell after being overrun by a pack of hell hounds. The foster family who raised him as their own died with the others. Cy's only saving grace was a mysterious stranger who seemed to sweep him away as quickly as it had happened. The man claimed he was bartering with someone from the encampment; but Cy knew they never dealt with new customers unless they had good reputation amongst other troops. His name was Solomon. Far from any civilization; this man stayed alone in a long fogotten part of the southern lands. This man had been out here all his life and so had his 'master.'
Cy was in his care for only a day before Solomon explained to him why he had saved the boy. The Kami Doctrine was an ancient and forgotten way of life that the monks shunned over time. 'Kami ni era bareta hito', he would say. In the days of old, the monks had selected a single warrior to consolidate their magic, training and the understanding of a human's true power. Their aim was to create a perfect warrior to protect them from any evil, no matter the strength of their foes. These arts were kept so sacred that each warrior was forbidden to teach this to others. Only one circumstance was allowed to bypass this. After Solomon's master had trained him to the full extent of his ability, the two were held by tradition to a final fight. Only by defeating his master would he prove that he had the will to keep the Kami Doctrine alive and ever-growing.
