The life of a wandering martial artist is never an easy one, but Sabin had always had his fair share of exceptional problems. Like, joining up with the Returners and covering a fairly large amount of a continent in his attempts to return to Narshe. As a result, he wasn't overly bothered by what some might call hardship, and there were certainly advantages to exploring free in the planet. Like, finding Rocket Town. The entire town was built with the sole purpose of building a particularly powerful airship in order to get to space.
Sabin didn't really understand entirely the point of going to space but the people there had been really passionate and that at least he did understand. He hadn't stayed all that long but it was still going on his very poor mental map of cool places to visit again once he got the chance. Officially, he was trying to find his way back to Figaro Castle which he was beginning to think might not be on this continent. In fact, if he stopped to think about it really hard, it was likely to be on the one with all the sand.
Strolling out of Rocket Town and back onto the open fields of decidedly contrasting flora he wondered where to go next. There was a town south of here which might give him some clues about getting to Figaro castle. He kind of missed his brother, he could go long periods of time without seeing Edgar but this merge had him worried. All kinds of new threats were cropping up, as was demonstrated by the shambling blue crystalline form now in front of him. Sabin glanced around, he could evade it but the guy looked pretty muscular and it would be good practice for fighting bigger opponents. Cracking his knuckles, Sabin hopped into motion and threw his hands together, chanting as flaming copies of himself materialised in the air before rushing at the cie'th.
Flashing through the air like scorching hawks, the copies of Sabin rushed the cie'th, forcing it back slowly as each flaming body collided with it and exploded in a small plume of flames. Frowning that it hadn't worked, Sabin focused instead on his second plan of attack. Running forward he swung behind it, dragging his feet through the ground in a small cloud of dust, before grabbing it around the waist and leaping skyward.
A moment later he landed, the cie'th first in a crash and jumped away. It dissolved into light and vanished leaving Sabin to nod in satisfaction. Good training! He carried on his walk, whistling to himself. He noticed a few travellers and waved to them, not aware that fighting a cie'th was one of those things most people considered dangerous not a quick workout.
((OOC: totally open as I dunno where to take Sabin yet))
