Bha, you really don't need energy drinks! Power through! I'm still awake which is insane. That makes 37 hours now but I've switched off for the night. The bf is hogging the TV and I'm gonna crash soon. I'm still in Guadosalam but I've finished up in the Farplane.
I found myself fleeing battle for the first time. Fucking Ochu's. I only ran twice though and I've not Gameovered yet so all is well. Sinspawn Gui is a fun boss when you know how to deal with it. I remember the first time I played this through i got stuck there for a while...
Okay stopped for the day. I'm not likely to play much tomorrow either. I'm at macalania south and as much as it pains me to admit... I had a game over.
Stupid larvae killed me because i was being stupid. I forgot they healed themselves. I'm gonna not die at all the bosses to make up for my epic fail!
Edit: Got back on the ps2 for a bit and made it through macalania. At the travel agency now. Though i kept getting turned around on the path through the woods and going in the wrong direction. And accidentally starting the butterfly game.
i suck super hard. I basically took out Seymour Natus with Yuna but i game overed twice before I got to him. Once just after I beat Evrae so i had to fight him twice and once more while grinding on the high bridge. If you have time to heal you probably should. Lesson learned.
I haven't been updating my progress here at all xD Picking up from the Moonflow this morning, but I probably won't get to play long today. Haven't game over'd yet, but there's plenty of time for that during the harder stages of the game~
Also, question! -waves hand- I have a question~! Is it understood that Spirans have evolved the capacity to breathe underwater, if properly trained? Because several times we have underwater sequences, but so far those fights have been restricted to Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku, all of which -would- have honed the ability for underwater breathing (if possible) for blitzball and deep sea scavenging, respectively. Unless you count the spring scene with Yuna, but I really don't :3
I assume that it's just that they're the ones with the training, due to blitzball and, like you said, Rikku's scavenging. You don't see it in the other characters at all, and I think that's specifically because they CAN. Actually, ingame, it's just referenced as the capability to hold their breath for long periods of time, in reference to the most experienced blitzball players, rather than breathing underwater. Unusual Spiran lung capacity, I suppose?
I'm still in Guadosalam, myself. I was going to at least talk to Seymour earlier, but ended up getting interrupted in the middle of the scene, so I guess I'll have to do it later.
Last Edit: May 10, 2012 19:56:50 GMT -5 by Griever
Just finished Macalania Temple xD Still ahead of Griever, but not by very much. That's okay, I've accepted the fact that the only achievement I might be able to manage is least game overs. None so far, but I haven't even hit Bevelle yet...
I'm at the Seymour Flux battle on Gagazet now. I've had like 6 game overs but i managed to get as far as Yojimbo with my only purchase being a taming sword. I'm not playing again until tuesday (she said hopefully) so I can reward myself/drown my exam sorrows in gaming.
Also I do not recall this Zombie - Full-Life Bullshit that he's pulling...
