Theme: Advertising Contest Entry: Post our ad on other forums, following the guidelines in the Advertising Rewards thread, then PM me with a numbered list of the websites you advertised on. Don't try to cheat the numbers - we'll check. Winner is determined by ad count. -- Writing Portion: I really enjoyed last month's writing contest, so I'll be holding a second one in conjunction with the advertising contest. All entrants into the writing portion will have ten bonus points added to their ad count for the advertising portion. Write a one-shot story of at least 1000 words, using the character of your choice. This time, the theme is backstory: write an important scene from your character's past. Scenes must be something that wasn't revealed in game canon. RULES AND ENTRY:1. Contest period is now, June 27th, through July 27th. All entries must be received by July 27th at 12:00 AM EST. 2. Any ads that are double posted will not be counted toward your total, so make sure you check and see if our ad's up on sites you try. 3. Send all entries to me via PM, with the subject "Advertising Contest Entry" or something similar. PRIZES:First Place: A copy of Final Fantasy Origins for the PlayStation, which contains Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II. The game is used, but the disc is intact and works fine. Game comes in the original case and includes the instruction booklet. Writing Portion First Place: A custom icon and signature banner.

Hey guys, the contest is scheduled to end TONIGHT, and I haven't received a single entry for either the writing or the advertising portion. Does no one really want to win a copy of Origins? Anyway, I'll keep waiting on entries, but if I don't receive any I'll have to extend the contest for another week. Don't disappoint me - I know at least one of you wants that game!

Just wanted to let you all know, there was actually no participation at all for this contest. I didn't receive a single entry, either for the advertising or writing portions. I was really hoping a physical prize would be good motivation, but it looks like it wasn't enough to generate interest. So, in light of that, what would you guys like to see as prizes? What would be something that would make you want to enter our contests? I'd love to keep holding them, but I can't do that if no one wants to enter.

I love this prize, K-chan xD I had actually fully planned out an entry for this contest, but with my Perspectives class for the past couple months I didn't have time to write it :<
I'm still planning to write it and keep it with my own drabbles, though, haha :3
